How to Choose a Small Home Elevator Correctly

Apr 20, 2023

The door opening methods for household elevators are divided into manual doors and automatic doors:
The structure of a hand sliding door is similar to the commonly used doors in our homes, except for the addition of a door lock linkage device and a relatively heavy weight. At the same time, the hand sliding door has no car door protection design, which objectively poses safety hazards; Automatic doors, like public passenger elevators, have double protection for both car doors and hall doors. However, more than 95% of villa elevators choose side opening automatic doors because they can save building area to the maximum extent and make full use of the width of the shaft. At the same time, they can be convenient for people with disabilities and the elderly, fully reflecting their practicality.
b. Choose villa elevators controlled by PLC or microcomputer:
PLC control, abbreviated as "Programmable Logic Controllers" in English, is mainly used in early industrial fields and is also the main control method for elevators. After the emergence of microcomputer control systems in the 1980s, PLC control was widely adopted in the elevator industry only for utility elevators, but it was basically eliminated by microcomputer control systems in the passenger elevator industry. Therefore, choosing Jinghuai's microcomputer control system is the correct choice.
c. Choose a household elevator or villa elevator driven by variable frequency, variable voltage, and variable speed VF:
Choose a household elevator driven by variable frequency and voltage regulation to make its operation more comfortable, stable, and energy-saving. In the selection of traction household elevators, the configuration of VVVF traction machine and frequency converter drive is adopted.
d. Select LED lighting:
The biggest difference between LED lighting and traditional spotlights or incandescent lamps is that they are brighter, more environmentally friendly, energy-saving, and have a longer lifespan.
e. Try to choose home elevators with automatic rescue devices (power outage leveling) and automatic dialing devices:
Private elevators are different from public elevators in that they are used by a single household. Therefore, household elevators have higher requirements for safety protection, especially for the elderly or children in the family. If there is a sudden power outage or malfunction during the use of the elevator, choose a household elevator with an automatic rescue device and automatic dialing configuration to provide maximum safety protection for the family. Of course, the manufacturer will also require payment for additional equipment costs
